Getting Help

Congratulations! It's a big step to admit that you could use some help in your gluten-free journey. Just remember, there are countless people ready to assist:

Your Doctor:
Talk to your doctor about celiac disease and gluten intolerance if you think you could benefit from a gluten free diet. Most doctors are well versed in celiac testing and are knowledgeable about the conditions associated with celiac sprue disease (If he is not receptive to discussing gluten intolerance, find another doctor who is.). Don't hesitate to ask to be referred to a gastrointestinal specialist.

Your Naturopath:
Your Naturopathic doctor may be the most receptive to discussing gluten intolerance/sensitivity as a solution to your health issues. Naturopathic physicians craft comprehensive treatment plans that blend the best of modern medical science and traditional natural medical approaches to not only treat disease, but to also restore health.
